My apartment is in the Xishan Villa (a newly-built high-class residential community), lies between western 4th and 3rd ring road, Hanhe Road of Haidian District, close to the famous Eight Sightseeing Park and the Fragrant Hill Park, also near most of the Olympic sports venue (shown in the following map), about 14 km to the "Bird's Nest" and "Water Cube", 20 minutes or so to Bird’s Nest by taxi. Several city bus lines go by the community, can take you where you want. In addition, a standard 18-hole golf ground is only 30 meters to the windows of my apartment.
